International Design Registration

A design refers to an appearance of a particular product that qualifies as original and different from any other designs created. International design registration gives ownership control on the design of the product and also gives the creator the right to take legal action against infringement, deterring others from potential infringement. By International Design Registration, a design can be deposited simultaneously in many countries. An International Design Registration provides you the same protection as National Design Registrations in the countries concerned. A design application cannot be refused on account of the existence of older, probably conflicting design registrations.
